Doris advises women on business growth and procures major companies seeking to attract the lucrative market segments of women-owned small businesses. She is a featured speaker at institutions of higher education, local community groups and programs, state conventions and serves as a valued resource for

Doris Symonds is the Author of “How I Saved $10,500 With Only 4 Quarters a Day!” She is currently writing, “Raising Girls With Gold Minds” soon to be published. She continues to donate funds from the profits of her books to local charitable organizations whose mission is to support women and girls’ programs.

Doris holds a Bachelors and Masters degree in Business Education from Illinois State University. She received an Associate degree in Applied Science from Danville Area Community College, in Danville, Illinois.

Currently, Doris is the Founder and Producer of the largest small business women’s expo and conference, held in Peoria, Illinois since 2004. In 2007, she began the Ladies Who Lunch Their Business to Success networking group. The monthly networking group provides an opportunity for women to share information about their small businesses and obtain answers to issues on how to run a successful business.
